Each year, Boost Juice redesigns and updates every menu across Australia. From the outset, it appears to be a simple objective, however this large-scale, time critical project is far from straightforward. The project involves the coordination of multiple key stakeholders across company departments, the franchise network and external suppliers, including; freelance designers, proof reader, print and delivery companies.
The creative outcomes require a complex balance of customer, staff and franchisee needs, while incorporating marketing and business strategies, combined with the legal requirements of Australian food advertising and nutrition regulations.
In addition, the menus must also be visually engaging and align with brand guidelines, current design and market trends. But wait there's more that's not all, the menus must be a positive, functioning piece of communication design, adaptable for digital menus, website and the app.
Add to the mix a plethora of bespoke store design and hardware limitations, and unique product selections and pricing across 302 stores, to all be delivered on time, and on budget. In short, this project is not for the faint hearted.

DIGITAL MENUS & ANIMATION
This is one of our earlier test for the 2021 animated menus. The aim was to trial ways to create eye catching animations that drew attention to new products and categories to enhance the customer ordering experience. Let's just say we had a several tests before we got it right.
DIGITAL MENU - CREATE YOUR OWN JUICE
Customer feedback revealed opportunities to improve the customer experience of ordering a mixed juice. The animation was incorporated into the digital menus in store and was supported by an online social campaign.
